Sonder and Realization that All People Have Deep Complex Life Experiences

Stephadam Season 2025 Episode 43

Send us a text

We talk about a word with no etymology per se: sonder. It is the deep realization that other people have as complex life experiences as you.

A variety of life experiences are described trying to capture exactly what this means or doesn't mean. We go down a rabbit hole talking about validation, desires, and drive, but eventually make it back to where we started: everyone has meaningful, complex lives.
